So having read this : User created content In War Thunder 1.39 we will finally introduce the long-anticipated opportunities for user content creation. Several tools are currently in development, some of them we will try to implement in Update 1.39 the others will be added later: tools for creating user camouflages full mission editor and ability to play user made missions Tools to create user aircraft models and cockpits (without FM tuning tools yet) Location editor Tools to create your own localization and opportunity to implement new languages Option to modify the tactical map in a browser Game wiki, which gives the players an opportunity to specify certain aircraft and game modes description There will be an additional developer diary with more information on the user generated content. I'm quite excited. Now this might not happen in this patch but if it does then we've got some opportunities to create an accurate camo scheme for our flights and for the squadron which from my POV is brilliant. The other thing I'm excited about is the mission editor, we'll have to wait and see on this but this would be great for training and or doing a special event between ourselves or other squadrons.
That coupled with the many new spitfires coming in and the glorious beast of a tsetse Mossie means for me I'm pretty chuffed

will be interesting to see what this means in practice re the camo thing - I fear the RB sky will be full of garish designs lol. The mission editor could be good tho as you say Sherlock.
Lovely new spits tho god knows what BR they will be given....

Im not sure where you would begin regards the FM's for them they're obviously more powerful with their griffin engines but I don't think they will turn as well. So it might end up flying similar to the Tiffys or Tempests which will take some getting used to. I'm hoping the devs with have to approve some of the camos. What I'd like to see would be having a squadron camo for when we have events so you'd have say your plane with the proper letters and then say mine with the next set of letters and so and so forth if that makes sense. Would also love to see a squadron tag much like they have on the later British jets with the two tone colour. Not sure how accurate that is though but anyway . Mission editor would enable us I hope to re enact certain historical missions which would be great I think.

A lot is going to be depend on which Griffon Spitfires they decide to go for; early vs late and low vs high altitude versions.
